Packages and Terms

Four Session Discounted Package: At the end of the first session all four sessions must be paid up front: $399 Individual counseling or $499 for couples counseling. Four sessions must be used in a 30 Day Period (about one a week). Your sessions can be used as extended block of time which can be great for couple therapy. Remember: Any no-show or cancellation/rescheduling before 48 hours will forfeit the cost of a session. Any sessions going over 75 mins will be deducted out the next session.
Rescheduling will be honored if the office is notified 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. No Exceptions. Pre-paid Session or Deposit will be forfeited if done after 48 hours.
First Session: The first session can go anywhere from 60-90mins. Make sure the intake form is filled out before this session to save time.

Health Insurance (Aetna, Cigna, Optum, & UnitedHealth)

MKL Counseling provides services for Aetna, Cigna, Optum, & UnitedHealth health Insurances and some EAPs (Employment Assistance Program). Please check with your health plan and EAP when it comes to counseling services and their requirements for payment before setting an appointment. PLEASE NOTE: Most insurance plans will not pay for counseling services until your premium has been met and then after that the client will still have a co-pay and/or a percentage of services due. Client must fill out Intake and return it 24 hours before their first appointment to validate insurance. If insurance is not validated before the appointment a $50 payment needs to be made at the first session. This will be added to ongoing copays or refunded in 7 days of validation. The client is 100% responsible for payment if their insurance or their EAP does not pay for any reason. All co-pays must be paid on the day of service. MKL Counseling may charge the accepted rate to the Insurance Company which can be up to $159 per a session, which may be different than the self-pay rate on this website.
